How to use discord fonts

Discord renders Unicode in messages, nicknames, and your profile bio, so these styles work without Nitro or any bot. Use cursive or gothic for a distinctive nickname, small caps for a clean profile, or strikethrough for a quick effect. Note: code blocks and some bots strip styling, and screen-reader users in your server will hear the characters spelled out.

FAQ

Do these work in Discord without Nitro?

Yes — they're plain Unicode characters, not a custom font, so they render for everyone regardless of Nitro. Nitro only changes things like emoji and bigger uploads.

Can I use a fancy font in my Discord username?

Server nicknames and your global display name accept Unicode. The base @username is more restricted, so set the styled version as your nickname or display name.
